About the Job
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor bank balances for each approved and processed transaction.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation by comparing bank account balances (per passbook) with QuickBooks records.
  • Review BIR Form 2307 prepared by the Accounting Assistant for accuracy in relation to each transaction.
  • Prepare tax schedules and computations, and file and process tax payments accordingly.
  • Review entries made by the Accounting Assistant in the Alphalist and VAT Relief portals of the BIR.
  • Prepare financial reports, including but not limited to the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Sales Report, as requested by the Consultant, and present them to the Business Unit Heads.
  • Review VAT schedules and reconciliations with QuickBooks balances prepared by the Accounting Assistant before filing VAT returns.

Skills & Knowledge:
  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related course.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Very good in working with MS Excel or QuickBooks.
  • Willing to have Saturday duties if needed.
